SANTA CRUZ
As one of Spain's busiest ports and the capital city of the island of Tenerife, Santa Cruz boasts all the sights and cultural venues of a bustling city but with the quaint charm of a traditional coastal town. Get ready to enjoy modern concert venues, palm-lined pedestrian promenades, old castles, romantic street lights, great shopping, fantastic beaches. historical theaters... all set in the city's quaint Canarian architecture.
PUERTO DE LA CRUZ
Puerto de la Cruz is a favorite amongst Tenerife's many visitors, yet the influx of tourism hasn't chipped away at its relaxed, small town personality. It's located on Tenerife's incredible northern coastline and is surounded by such beautiful natural surroundings as natural parks, rolling hills and lush banana plantations. It was declared a city of Tourist Interest in 1995 and, once you experience the port town feel, the fishing boats bobbing in the sea, the intimate beaches, the colorful stucco homes and the airy balconies, you'll understand why!
What's more, our Spanish school in Tenerife is located right in the heart of this beloved city! Imagine learning Spanish while immersed in this lovely city and where the beach is just steps away.

LA LAGUNA
The historical city of San Cristobal de la Laguna - generally just called La Laguna - was founded in 1496 and was once the capital of Tenerife. Unlike Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz, La Laguna is located inland, safe from the pirates who once patrolled the seas and therefore a strategic place for the island's affluent aristocracy to set down roots. Today, it remains Tenerif'e's religious, cultural and intellectual center. Home to the University of San Fernando, it is also home to more museums than any other town and an impeccably preserved historical center ("Casco Antiguo") that UNESCO has declared a protected World Heritage Site.
